In order to ensure dynamic and active functioning of YSAFE network, IPPF European Network Regional Office (RO) found an opportunity to have an open call for YSAFE members to fulfill 6 month posts of intern-YSAFE Coordinator in RO in Brussels, Belgium starting February 2008.

The first intern was Irmtraud Watzinger from the Austrian Member Association (MA). From February to July 2008, she structured the YSAFE membership list, kept members informed about the news and opportunities in the field and launched this website!

On 11th of July we said goodbye to Irmi and welcomed the next intern - Luize Ratniece from the Latvian MA. She continued with the development of the website, passing on information and news to the network and other activities needed to keep YSAFE sustainable and active. She started the YSAFE newsflash that was out once a month. Her internshp ended December 19th.

The 3rd intern was suppsed to be Daniel Kalajdjieski from the Macedonian MA, but because of the Belgium Regulations, we couldn't receive anyone outside EU so he helped with the continuance of the good work from home.

The 3rd official intern was Ilona Uleviciute from Lithuaninan MA. From July to December 2009 she continued with the work, keeping all the members up to date with infomation, news, events.

The 4th intern was Marius Bugeac from the Romanian MA. From January to July 2010 he continued updating the YSAFE website, the Facebook fan page, the member list, he helped with the organization and facilitation of the YSAFE Annual Meeting 2010, the SRHR training for YFJ (European Youth Forum) and the Advocacy and Communication training for YSAFE. Also he continued the tradition that Luize started, the YSAFE newsflash. On the 3rd of July we said our goodbyes and welcomed the new intern.

Starting July, the 5th intern, Katarina Glosova from the Slovak MA, will be the new YSAFE coordinator.
